This rare, 1959 Duple 'Donnington' bodied Leyland Tiger Cub, is available for preservation in West Norfolk. It was new as a non PSV to Leicester Convalescent Homes Society in January 1959 & does not appear to have ever entered PSV service. The Leyland's, registration number URY 709, is being offered for sale near Kings Lynn, by its owner Andy Clark for £750. Although URY 709 has been converted to a 'Chuck wagon' by Andy's uncle some years ago, the body has not been irretrievably modified. Most of the seats are still in the coach with only the rear ones removed to make space for the kitchen & serving area. Engine is reported to be seized.
