Photographs on the Wakefield Files

We are grateful to the many people who supply photographs for use on this website and a credit is placed to the donor. If by any chance you find we are using a photograph that was taken by yourself, that has not been credited correctly please drop us a friendly email with details of the photograph and we will place the correct credit or remove the image at your request.

If you have a photograph of a vehicle that is listed and not illustrated and are able to supply a copy please email us. Thank you and enjoy your visit to the Wakefield Files.

Help/Information on vehicles

Whilst we are willing to try & answer queries regarding information on, or source of spares etc for vehicles we ask that in such cases the following information is given:-

Your name, town & country (if outside the UK)

A land line telephone number if in UK

Chassis number, and/or UK registration number of vehicle

This information will help to identify the vehicle correctly & will also enable us to keep our vehicle listings up to date. If you do not give this information then we may not respond.

As we are concerned here with buses & coaches we are not able to answer questions on commercials, unless they are based on a PSV chassis. We also reserve the right to forward your email enquiry to a third party who we consider may be able to assist you.

Where are they now?

Usually in the WAKEFIELD FILES we find the vehicle but don't always know its history, In the following cases early history is known, but the vehicles have disappeared. Efforts to trace them via letters in magazines such as Classic & Vintage Commercials, Heritage Commercials, & Bus & Coach Preservation, have failed to unearth them. If you know where they are, or what happened to them, John Wakefield would like to know
